Book Review: Keep Going

Austin Kleon is the author of Steal Like an Artist and Show Your Work. His latest book is Keep Going and it will not fail to propel you onwards.

This is a welcome guide to sustaining creativity in the digital age. In his signature succinct and graphic style, Austin outlines ten rules (he likes sets of ten) for maintaining momentum.

Be reminded of the value of routine, gifts, fresh air and attention. Protect yourself from distraction and bad news. Make lists. Lists are good.

His newsletter is well worth signing up for – featuring (inevitably ten) interesting things to see/hear/investigate.

Watch this chatty interview with Chase Jarvis.

Keep Going is reassuring, full of empathy and collected wisdom. Definitely one to read.
