Here’s some Little Free Library news:

The rustic bookcase, sitting on the fence of a Stockbridge Colonies garden, was blown over and damaged in Storm Eowyn. Unlike the lucky Whale Bone Studio on the Isle of Iona, this is going to take a little while to fix.

Built to commission by The Edinburgh Tool Library in 2016, it is a much-visited fixture by locals and biblio-tourists alike. When libraries were shut during the pandemic it was very popular. It’s a delight to see all the comings, goings and shelfies!

Rest assured that the 24/7 library will be returning as soon as possible, after a visit to the Bookcase Rehabilitation Centre (aka John’s Shed.) And maybe there’ll be a re-opening party to celebrate.
