We have news! Save the Date: Iona 2026!

Dear Adventurers in Ink and Paper, It’s a great pleasure to announce that, contrary to expectations, there will be a bookart workshop on Iona next year!

Knowing that The Green Shed, which has hosted us for thirteen gorgeous years, would no longer be available after this season, it seemed sensible to take a break and see how the land lay….Then the irresistible opportunity arose to create an entirely new Iona bookart experience.

So please Save the Date: Iona 2026 – 7th – 11th April, if you’d like to join us!

Our ‘studio’ is a lovely space at the award-winning architect-designed Iona Village Hall for three whole productive, playful days, with four night’s accommodation at St. Columba Hotel (dinner bed and breakfast,) all materials and lunch provided too.

Whilst the exact format is shaping up, you can be sure that there will be bookbinding, inkery, exploring landscapes, mark making, writing and more binding, with extra curricular entertainments…and the chance to just be.

Please note that this workshop is not suitable for non-participating partners. There will be TWO twin rooms for two participants to share; so get planning if you’d like to come with a chum.
