Bed with a View

A bijou studio apartment in the heart of Edinburgh, looking out over Princes Street and the Firth of Forth, Bed With a View is a wonderful bookish retreat.

Superbly located within walking distance of the castle, galleries, shops, museums and gardens, Rachel’s pied a terre has a literary theme. There are prints and bookart on the walls, a small curated library of contemporary Scottish literature and a map of the world to contemplate from the super-king size bed.

The apartment is lovingly-maintained, safe and comfortable. It has a writing desk, a plump armchair and good wifi. Bed With a View is sited so that the front door opens on to the New Town (home of the Scottish Enlightenment) and the back door gives you access to medieval Edinburgh and the Royal Mile.

As chosen by The Guardian in their top ten of literary places to stay in the UK.
